DNL Holiday GuideDNL caters holiday parties for companies or groups, both casual dinner banquets and formal Hor d'Oeuvre parties. To insure your first choice in dates please reserve well in advance - it is best to book in September for November & December parties (although we do accept parties based on our availability a week in advance). However, with longer lead times you guarentee your date and we can help arrange better venues, more entertainment options, etc. For the best options you should book well in advance.RentalsWill you need Tents, Tables, Chairs, Heaters? Please let us know so we can arrange these things for you. You can easily upgrade or customize your party with China, Silverware/Flatware, Wine Goblets, Decorations, etc.ServicePrices listed are for setting up a self-service buffet. We can also provide servers for maintaining the buffet or passing Hor d'Oeuvres.DNL is committed to making sure you have an outstanding event enjoyed by all. For your convenience DNL will make an exact quote for you, showing everything! Holiday BanquetsDNL can set up your holiday buffet just about anywhere - we can set up at your company in a cafeteria or all-purpose room, we can set up a tent with heaters in your parking lot or we can cater to venues in hotels and halls. These parties tend to be a little more formal so you may consider entertainment, decorations, servers to pass the appetizers, and so forth. Planning Your Barbeque Picnic You are planning the group picnic.To start you have an approximate budget and know your group – adults, children, how many, what they like. From this start DNL can help with your picnic planning:Where do you want to have the picnic?We can set up almost anywhere – public parks, company lots, private residences. DNL will be happy to suggest venues and help you find just the right location.Date and time?DNL can put together an on-site BBQ with as little as one week's notice. However, with longer lead times you guarentee your date and we can help arrange better venues, more entertainment options, etc. For the best options you should book 3 months to 1 year in advance.What entertainmentdo you want for adults and for children? DNL can arrange games, sports, clowns and face painters, jump houses, dunk tanks, DJs – you name it and we will arrange it!Do you want us to cook fresh On Siteor do you want us toDeliver?Now let's start putting the BBQ together. To price your BBQ we will need:  Entree:package or à la Carte choice;2. Soda & Water:We suggest 1½ per person;(More in hot weather, less in cool weather. Consider also sports activity.) 3. Setup:Outdoor, Indoor or Disposable Dropoff? Outdoor buffet setup is $1.50 per person, Indoor setup is $1.00 per person, Disposable is no charge.4. Optionaladditional expenses can include rental of dining tables, chairs, canopies or umbrellas, entertainment.That's all there is to it! For onsite BBQs we will add in the following: 5. Fresh on-site cooking:Cooks and servers cost $150 each for up to 5 hours, $30 per hour thereafter. A 10% Gratuity is calculated on food & drink. Celebrating Life's Special OccasionsThere are many joyous life celebrations that call for getting together with friends and relatives to celebrate. DNL caters from the very formal through informal. Formal parties ideas may be found here. If your event is more casual then this is the section for you.Some examples of informal occasions can include Birthdays, Reunions, Tailgate Parties. Other celebrations, such as Anniversaries, Quinceañera, Bar/Bat Mitzvah can range from informal to very formal. Informal parties may be ordered from our menus to fit your style: We can make a barbeque any time of the year, see the section immediately above. For a casual dinner party you should choose a menu from our Hot Fare menu; the Regional Buffets are particularly popular for informal dinner parties. We set up the buffet with linen, chafers, serving pieces and high quality disposables for the diners. You may have an informal Hor d'Oeuvre party also. We have some suggested appetizer menus followed by an à la carte section. We set up buffet linen, chafers, serving pieces and high quality disposables for the diners. If you want help planning your party we can provide that also. We can help find venues, provide entertainers (DJs, clowns, jump houses, etc.) DNL will do everything possible to make your celebration joyous & memorable!
